JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for machining and/or assembling production parts, maintaining 100% quality with on-time delivery to customer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain strong attendance.
- Understand our safety culture. Wear correct PPE at all times; understand and follow Job Hazard Analysis.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of all production-related documentation (e.g., Operation Sheets, SOS, Key Point, Kan Ban, Flow Cards).
- Maintain process flow for machining/assembling each part based on specific procedures and all daily production tracking reports.
- Perform all quality check inspections including measuring (gauging) part diameters, depths, external and internal grooves, etc. as required
- Approve outgoing, inspected parts by labeling boxes with individual packing number.
- Consistently produce 100% quality parts. Able to identify abnormal situations and report.
- Increasingly able to achieve target efficiencies and expected to continually increase technical knowledge of work cell.
- Demonstrate housekeeping and 5S in work area ang have a good understanding of TPM by checking all fluid levels in the machines (e.g., oil, coolant, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS: (TRAINING, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION)
- Good math skills and reasoning ability.
- Good communication skills.
- Six months to one year of previous factory / manufacturing experience preferred.
