What You'll Do
- Install and test automation equipment for safety shutdown systems on wells and production facilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot serial radio networks
- Install, maintain, and repair automation equipment — including pressure, temperature, and level transmitters, PLCs, liquid flow meters, and flow controllers
- Perform preventative maintenance on safety shutdown equipment
- Respond to emergency service calls, including after-hours
- Maintain accurate documentation on daily tasks and equipment
What You Bring
- 2+ years of oilfield automation experience desired
- High school diploma required; 2-year technical degree preferred
- Ability to learn multiple software programs for configuring field devices
- A strong personal commitment to safety — for yourself and your team
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Willingness to be on call and work unscheduled overtime
- Ability to perform well under pressure with strong decision-making skills
- Creativity, innovation, and comfort adapting to change and ambiguity
- Strong time management skills
- Proficiency with Windows, Excel, and Outlook
- Clean driver's license and driving record
