Automated Welding Machine Operator

We are currently seeking a dependable and motivated Automated Welding Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, adjusting, and maintaining automated welding equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and operate automated welding machines safely and efficiently
- Load and position production materials and tooling according to specifications
- Operate machine controllers and production programs using production documentation
- Inspect finished products to ensure dimensional and quality standards are met
- Use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers to verify accuracy
- Assist with troubleshooting machinery and production equipment issues
- Notify leadership of equipment, material, or operational concerns
- Maintain production goals and performance standards
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and team goals
- Flex between different machines and departments based on business needs
- Operate forklifts and assist with material handling as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to operate or learn automated welding equipment
- Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification
- Ability to read production documentation and use measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, pushing, and repetitive upper body movement
- Occasional kneeling, stooping, and climbing
- Full use of hands and upper extremities for material handling and machine operation
- Ability to maintain focus and awareness while operating machinery
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Work Environment
This position operates in a manufacturing environment requiring adherence to safety procedures and operational standards. Employees must be comfortable working around production equipment and machinery while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.
