We are seeking an experienced Associate Electrical Engineer to support the assembly, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical and electro-mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with industrial equipment, control systems, vehicle electrical systems, or automation equipment.
This position requires strong hands-on electrical skills, the ability to read electrical schematics, and the capability to work independently in both shop and field environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, wire, and install electrical systems and components
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
- Perform electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs
- Install and terminate wiring, connectors, relays, breakers, sensors, and control devices
- Support prototype builds, testing, commissioning, and validation activities
- Use electrical test equipment including multimeters, clamp meters, and oscilloscopes
- Assist engineering teams with system integration and design modifications
- Perform continuity checks, voltage verification, and functional testing
- Maintain accurate documentation of wiring changes, repairs, and test results
- Follow all electrical safety procedures and company standards
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of electrical technician experience
- Strong understanding of DC and AC electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience using electrical diagnostic and testing equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organizational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PLC systems and industrial controls
- Experience with mobile equipment or vehicle electrical systems
- Familiarity with CAN Bus systems
- Experience with panel wiring and control cabinets
- Field service or commissioning experience
- Hydraulic and pneumatic system knowledge
