We are currently hiring for a 2nd Shift Assembly Operator for a growing manufacturing facility in Milford, CT. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a hands-on production environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical and electronic components according to work instructions and blueprints
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines
- Identify and report any production issues or defective materials
- Meet daily production goals and maintain efficiency standards
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and basic blueprints
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working with small parts and precision tools
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
