The Probe Cap Hand Assembler plays a crucial role in inspecting and packing tubes while collaborating with the production team to uphold safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Manage scrap, efficiency, and product quality.
- Set up and operate the probe assembly station and supporting equipment as per product specifications and management schedule.
- Apply raw tubes to probe caps manually, ensuring alignment with quality specifications.
- Verify box counts, seal boxes, apply correct product labels, and place completed products on pallets.
- Notify the film/tube department material handlers when finished products or unused materials are ready for warehouse transfer.
- Maintain quality standards and report any suspect or defective products to the Shift Leader for appropriate action.
- Accurately complete all necessary documentation.
- Train new Probe Cap Hand Assemblers in evaluating and packing tubes properly.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Pallet jack/tow motor experience preferred.
- Specific Skills: Time management and attention to detail.
- Equipment & Machinery: Pallet jack/tow motor certification, RF scanners.
- Computer Experience & Software: Basic computer skills, Oracle/WMS knowledge preferred.
