Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking associates for a Couplers Assembly position in Elyria. This role involves assembling coupler components, inspecting finished products, and ensuring all work meets quality and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble coupler components and parts according to work instructions.
• Use basic hand tools and equipment as needed.
• Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Follow production procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Meet daily production and quality goals.
• Identify damaged or defective components and report issues to a supervisor.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Perform other production and assembly duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be safety-conscious and willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Standing and walking throughout the workday.
• Repetitive use of hands and arms.
• Bending, reaching, and lifting as needed.
• Ability to safely handle production materials and components.
