Job Summary
Responsible for assembling components in a heavy manufacturing environment, operating production equipment, performing quality checks, and following work orders and safety procedures.
Essential Functions
- Assemble products using Bills of Materials, proper materials, and parts.
- Operate overhead hoists, cranes, and other material-handling equipment.
- Apply paint to suspension components using a spray gun.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments.
- Complete work orders, Kanban cards, and required production documentation.
- Meet established production and quality standards.
- Read and follow work orders, product routers, work instructions, and control plans.
- Properly handle and store paint, solvents, and other waste materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety, quality, and environmental policies.
- Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to work overtime or outside regular hours as needed.
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb, and grasp.
- Regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.; occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Work in a loud industrial environment with frequent exposure to manufacturing-related atmospheric conditions.
- Follow all required PPE, safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
