The role involves inspecting and packing tubes while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met within the production team.
- Manage scrap, efficiency, and product quality.
- Set up and operate assembly equipment as per specifications and schedule.
- Apply raw tubes to probe caps manually, adhering to quality specifications.
- Ensure accurate box counts, seal, label, and place boxes on pallets.
- Notify material handlers for warehouse transfers when products or materials are ready.
- Report suspect or defective products to the Shift Leader.
- Complete all documentation accurately.
- Train new assemblers in tube evaluation and packing.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Pallet jack/tow motor experience preferred.
- Time management, attention to detail.
- Pallet jack/tow motor certification, RF scanners.
- Basic computer skills, Oracle/WMS knowledge preferred.
