The role involves inspecting and packing tubes, contributing to the production team's efforts to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Key responsibilities include managing scrap, efficiency, and product quality.
- Set up and operate the probe assembly station and supporting equipment as per product specifications and schedule.
- Apply raw tubes to probe caps manually, ensuring alignment with quality specifications.
- Ensure accurate box counts, secure boxes with tape, label correctly, and place completed products on pallets.
- Notify material handlers when finished products or unused materials are ready for warehouse transfer.
- Uphold quality standards and report any suspect or defective products to the Shift Leader for further review.
- Complete all documentation accurately.
- Train new team members in evaluating and packing tubes properly.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Pallet jack/tow motor experience preferred.
- Time management, attention to detail.
- Pallet jack/tow motor certification, RF scanners.
- Basic computer skills, Oracle/WMS knowledge preferred.
