Nesco Resource is looking for an AOI Technician located in Danbury, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right person.
Shift:
Monday-Friday 7AM-3PM
Pay:$19/Hour
Position Overview:
Program, troubleshoot programming and process boards through the AOI (Automated Optical Inspection).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and troubleshoot programs for the AOI
- Organize workflow through the process.
- Alert production operations of any ongoing defects in products
- Visual inspection of PC boards to confirm acceptable soldering
- Setup and run placement machines as required
- Work within other areas of department when needed
Skills & Attributes:
- Technical school or associates degree in electronics or experience in production of printed circuit boards preferred
- Willingness to learn new skills
- CAD/CAM, AutoCAD, or similar computer experience preferred
- Understanding of orientation of parts on PC boards
- Ability to read and interpret a part number
- Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office, Orbotech software experience preferred.
