Antigen Manufacturing Technician
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7am - 3:30pm
Pay:$20/hour
Recruiting/Retention Bonus – Up to $1,000 Total
- $500 at 2 weeks
- $500 at 90 days
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related science preferred
- 1-3 years of manufacturing or laboratory experience preferred
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and sterile processing (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Good written, verbal, and computer skills
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Basic knowledge of quality systems and USDA regulations is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. (20 kg) as needed
Responsibilities
- Operate centrifuges to process and concentrate bacterial antigens used in vaccine production
- Perform aseptic processing to maintain sterile conditions throughout production
- Prepare, clean, and sterilize equipment used in downstream processing
- Accurately complete production records following Good Documentation Practices
- Monitor processes for quality and consistency while following established safety procedures
- Assist with additional downstream processing, cleaning, and production support as needed
This is a hands-on manufacturing position that requires precision, consistency, and attention to detail. While experience with aseptic techniques is helpful, training is provided for the specific processes used in this role.
