Admixture Production Technician
Full-Time Mon – Fri 7:30 AM – 4:00pm
Pay - $19/hr
Position Summary
Responsible for supporting the receiving, manufacturing, quality control, inventory, and shipping of admixture products. This position follows established production and quality procedures to ensure products are manufactured safely, accurately, and on schedule.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate production processes according to established procedures and schedules.
- Produce quality products while following all safety, production, and quality requirements.
- Collect and properly sample process batches according to Quality Lab procedures.
- Perform required quality inspections and accurately document results.
- Identify and report issues related to product quality, production processes, or the quality system.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with monitoring raw material needs.
- Assist the Plant Manager with reviewing production/process orders and material requirements.
- Help train new employees on production procedures and safe work practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Admixture Plant Manager.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, production, plant, or process-related experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions, safety procedures, and operating procedures.
- Basic math skills, including whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percentages, weights, volumes, and measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow established procedures.
- Ability to identify problems and take appropriate action within established guidelines.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively with a team.
- Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety and product quality.
Physical Requirements
This is an active production position requiring regular standing and walking, use of hands, reaching, climbing truck ladders, stooping, kneeling, and lifting buckets and bags. The position may require lifting materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Employees must be able to work around moving mechanical equipment, airborne particles, outdoor conditions, and varying noise levels.
