Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant provides a wide range of administrative, clerical, and office support activities for the assigned department or business area. This position supports daily office operations by managing communications, coordinating schedules, maintaining office resources, and responding to administrative requests.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Clerical Support
- Answer, screen, and transfer inbound phone calls.
- Receive and direct visitors and clients.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties.
- Handle requests for information and data.
- Respond to and resolve administrative questions and issues.
- Assist with additional administrative projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Scheduling & Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.
- Coordinate travel arrangements as needed.
- Prepare meeting agendas and schedules.
- Maintain organized calendars and administrative records.
Office Operations
- Monitor and maintain office supply inventories.
- Coordinate maintenance and servicing of office equipment.
- Support the efficient day-to-day operation of the office.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous administrative, clerical, or office support experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of relevant office software and applications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of standard office equipment and procedures.
- Understanding of basic office management principles and practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Flexible schedule as needed.
