Job Summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a detail-oriented Print Inspector for a textile manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for inspecting printed textile products throughout the production process to ensure they meet company quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, works well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and is committed to producing high-quality products.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Inspect printed textile materials for defects, color consistency, print quality, and overall appearance.
  • Verify products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and report defects such as streaks, smudges, misprints, color variations, or fabric imperfections.
  • Monitor production throughout the printing process to ensure consistent quality.
  • Use measuring tools and inspection equipment as needed to verify product specifications.
  • Remove and segregate defective materials according to company procedures.
  • Complete quality inspection reports and production documentation accurately.
  • Communicate quality concerns promptly with machine operators, supervisors, and production personnel.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and quality procedures.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve product quality.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred; textile or printing experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and production specifications.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to distinguish colors and identify visual defects.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, heat, and textile fibers.

Shift

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production demands.
