Shift Supervisor – 2nd Shift

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor
to lead daily operations and personnel on 2nd shift for our client in Bedford. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring productivity, quality, safety, and employee engagement while meeting operational goals. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills who thrives in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and support employees to achieve daily production goals.
- Assign work, monitor performance, and maintain adequate staffing levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate solutions to minimize downtime.
- Monitor inventory levels and complete shift reports and documentation.
- Train new employees and support ongoing workforce development.
- Address employee concerns and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory, team lead, or manufacturing leadership experience required.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
- Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, control panels, and industrial troubleshooting preferred.
- Experience with 110V, 220V, and 480V three-phase electrical systems is a plus.
- Experience with Revit, Inventor, or similar design software is beneficial.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus.
- Ability to pass a preemployment screening
Salary:$60,000 - $75,000 per year
