2ND SHIFT Production Associate / Material Handler - cornerboard stacker
Nesco is seeking dependable and motivated Production Associates to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for stacking finished products, performing quality inspections, packaging materials, and supporting daily production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Stack and package finished products for shipment
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy
- Verify dimensions using measuring tools and tape measures
- Band, tag, wrap, and prepare pallets for shipping
- Load, move, and organize materials throughout the facility
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow production schedules and safety procedures
- Complete production and quality documentation
- Support continuous improvement and production goals
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, or general labor experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Stand for extended periods
- Frequently bend, stoop, squat, twist, and reach overhead
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
