Shift Pick/Packer 2 located in Danbury, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Shift:
Monday-Friday 3:30PM-12AM
Pay:
$23/Hour
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately using warehouse management systems and handheld scanners.
- Verify products and quantities against order requirements and shipping documentation.
- Package materials securely and apply appropriate labels and shipping paperwork.
- Process domestic and international shipments while following customer-specific instructions.
- Operate material handling equipment to transport products throughout the warehouse.
- Utilize warehouse and shipping software to print documents, create labels, confirm orders, and generate tracking information.
- Handle complex shipments, including international and hazardous material orders when applicable.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Support shipping, receiving, logistics, and other warehouse operations as needed.
- Assist with workload distribution and team support when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Cross-train and provide support in additional warehouse departments.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in picking, packing, shipping, or warehouse operations.
- Experience with international shipping processes is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Comfortable using computers, scanners, label printers, and warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to lift up to 44 lbs. regularly throughout the shift.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
