Location:
Scarborough, ME
Schedule:
2nd shift 5pm-5am, rotating 12 hour shifts.
Must be able to work every other weekend
Pay Rate:
$28.00 hr.
Operator II
- Engage in the detailed assembly of medical devices and components, potentially in a controlled cleanroom setting.
- Utilize a variety of tools and equipment, including microscopes, hand tools, and computerized test equipment.
- Perform routine assignments with precision, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards.
- Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements to maintain product excellence.
- Test and troubleshoot devices, making necessary repairs using microscopes and specialized tools.
- Ensure accurate packaging and documentation of devices, maintaining traceability of all parts.
- Adhere to safety guidelines, using appropriate safety equipment during all operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality and efficiency.
- Communicate with supervisors about supply needs and production challenges.
- Collaborate with supervisors to set and monitor goals, striving for operational excellence.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment throughout the facility.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team success.
Requirements
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow English written procedures
- Basic math skills
- Effective verbal communication and instruction-following skills in English.
- Familiarity with electronic data collection systems and computer software.
- Good dexterity for handling small components and parts.
- Strong prioritization skills for sequencing and timing tasks.
- Capability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma required.
- 2 years of relevant experience.
- Preemployment drug test and background check is required
