Nesco Resource is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Aluminum Welder to join our manufacturing team in Ridgeway, SC. The Aluminum Welder will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling aluminum components according to company specifications, blueprints, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have welding experience, good attention to detail, and a commitment to producing quality work in a safe and productive environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform aluminum welding using MIG and/or TIG welding processes.
- Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and welding specifications.
- Weld and assemble aluminum parts and components to meet production requirements.
- Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and quality.
- Maintain welding equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
- Meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards.
- Work with team members and supervisors to resolve production or quality issues.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous aluminum welding experience preferred.
- Knowledge of MIG and/or TIG welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and measurements.
- Familiarity with welding tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
- Ability to bend, reach, and work in various positions.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to welding fumes, heat, noise, and other typical production conditions. Proper safety equipment and procedures must be followed at all times.
