Position Overview
The Thermoforming Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating production machines to ensure efficient, high-quality output. You'll oversee changeovers, monitor machinery, and contribute to daily production goals in a clean, organized environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up production lines, including molds, fixtures, and equipment
- Perform changeovers: uninstall and reinstall necessary tools for new jobs
- Monitor and document machine running conditions and performance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production floor
- Perform daily wipe-downs of production traffic areas
- Communicate with the Team Leader regarding quality assurance issues
- Prepare and wrap finished skids for shipment
- Ensure raw materials, finished goods, and scrap are managed properly
- Support weekly preventive maintenance activities
- Assist with tasks outlined in the daily production schedule
