Nesco Resource is in search of a Maintenance Tech for our Client located in Lawndale, NC
Hours: Monday - Thursday: 4:00 p.m. - 2:30 a.m. - occasionally Friday's
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs maintenance on all types of equipment with limited supervision
- Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment throughout the facility
- Provides mechanical, hydraulic and electrical maintenance to equipment as needed.
- Responsible for the care, safe and efficient, use and security of maintenance tools, parts and supplies.
- Maintain a clean and sare work area.
- Work in a safe manner at all times and follow all company safety rules and guidelines.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, overtime and/or weekends as needed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Previous industrial maintenance, including hydraulic, mechanical and electrical experience
- Valid Driver's license.
- Ability to use and understand precision measuring tools and equipment, safe use of hand and power tools
- Requries good communication and technical skills along with being detail oriented.
The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical manufacturing environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. Noise level is moderate to high depending on the area of the mill. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. Requires close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and is regularly exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and extreme hot and cold temperatures.
