We are seeking a skilled CNC Horizontal Boring Mill and Lathe Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC Horizontal Boring Mills and other machining equipment to produce high-quality precision components. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC Horizontal Boring Mills and lathe machines
  • Produce precision parts and components according to engineering specifications
  • Perform daily machine start-up, clean-up, and preventative maintenance
  • Use precision measuring tools including dial calipers, dial indicators, and OD/ID micrometers to verify dimensions
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished workpieces safely and efficiently
  • Identify and label materials for fabrication and additional machining processes
  • Operate additional machinery as needed to support production demands
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of machining experience required
  • Experience setting up and operating CNC machining equipment
  • Knowledge of G & M code programming is a plus (training available)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Experience machining alloy steel materials preferred
  • Forklift and/or overhead crane experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Demonstrated accountability, problem-solving skills, and employee-owner mindset
  • Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Shift 2 nd shift (Monday through Friday 3 pm to 1:30 am
Salary $20-$40 an hour based on experience plus $5 shift differential
