Janitor / Housekeeper
Location: Shepherdsville, KY
Pay Rate:$15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor/Housekeeper to join our team in Shepherdsville, KY. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, follow cleaning schedules, and ensure all assigned areas are cleaned and sanitized daily.
Essential Job Duties

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including mirrors, sinks, toilets, urinals, and stalls
• Refill soap dispensers, paper products, and other restroom supplies
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the facility
• Clean and sanitize break rooms, including tables, chairs, microwaves, counters, and refrigerators
• Empty trash containers and replace liners as needed
• Wipe down walls, doors, hand dryers, and high-touch surfaces
• Maintain cleanliness of employee entrances, hallways, and common areas
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to company guidelines
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to management
• Maintain a professional attitude and dependable attendance

• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies

Work Environment
This position works in a warehouse and office environment and may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and varying temperatures.
