Maintenance Technician

1st Shift | $30–$40 per Hour

A growing, innovative manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong electromechanical troubleshooting experience who enjoys working with automated equipment, machinery, and complex mechanical and electrical systems.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving systems that combine mechanical and electrical components. This position will support automated equipment, production machinery, robotics, and other electromechanical systems while working collaboratively with the maintenance and operations teams.

Main Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical equipment failures.

• Perform repairs, troubleshooting, and system updates to improve equipment reliability and performance.

• Integrate mechanical components with electrical systems, including wiring, sensors, actuators, and controls.

• Assist with troubleshooting automated equipment and control systems.

• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

• Create and maintain documentation related to equipment repairs, testing, and modifications.

• Perform facility maintenance as needed.

• Work collaboratively with team members while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Experience working with electromechanical systems, equipment, or automated machinery.

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting background, including hydraulics and pneumatics.

• PLC and automation experience is preferred.

• Knowledge of electrical controls, sensors, actuators, and mechanical systems.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
