We're seeking a hands-on IT Systems & Network Administrator to support the organization's core technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, virtualization, and end-user systems. This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional who enjoys solving complex technical problems and can work across both systems administration and network infrastructure.
What You'll Own
Systems Administration

Administer and support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

Manage user accounts, permissions, policies, and core infrastructure services.

Support Windows 10/11 desktops, laptops, and related endpoint environments.

Troubleshoot server, application, operating system, and connectivity issues.

Support Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments.

Maintain reliable and secure day-to-day systems operations.
Network Infrastructure
-
Configure and maintain switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, and related infrastructure.
-
Monitor network performance, connectivity, and availability.
-
Troubleshoot TCP/IP, VLAN, Ethernet, routing, and connectivity issues.

Support network security and access-control requirements.
-
Investigate network outages and recurring connectivity problems.
-
Assist with network upgrades, expansions, and infrastructure improvements.
Cloud & Virtualization
-
Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and other cloud-based technology platforms.

Administer or support VMware, Hyper-V, or comparable virtualization environments.
-
Assist with virtual server deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
-
Support infrastructure migrations, upgrades, and technology projects.

Help maintain reliable integration between on-premises and cloud environments.
Security, Backup & Infrastructure
-
Support backup systems, disaster recovery processes, and infrastructure continuity.

Follow established security practices for systems, networks, accounts, and endpoints.
-
Assist with security improvements, patching, access controls, and system maintenance.

Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation and technical procedures.

Identify infrastructure risks and recommend practical improvements.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting

Serve as a technical escalation point for complex systems and network issues.

Provide Tier 2/3 support when issues require advanced troubleshooting.

Diagnose problems across servers, networks, applications, endpoints, and connectivity.

Work with users and internal teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.

Document recurring problems, resolutions, and infrastructure changes.

Support day-to-day IT operations across the organization.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
3+ years of professional systems administration and networking experience
Strong working knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, VPNs, switches, and firewalls
Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments
Experience troubleshooting across both server and network infrastructure
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of systems or network administration experience.

Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or similar virtualization technologies.

Experience with backup and disaster recovery environments.

Experience supporting hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

Associate's degree or higher in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications such as Network+, Security+, CCNA, Microsoft, VMware, or equivalent.

Experience supporting infrastructure projects, system upgrades, or network deployments.

Work Environment
This is a hands-on infrastructure position that requires regular interaction with servers, network equipment, workstations, and other IT systems throughout the organization. The role may involve occasional equipment installation, troubleshooting, and movement between office and infrastructure areas.
