Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with SQL knowledge to manage software, application, data, and system integration projects. This role will oversee projects from planning through completion while coordinating developers, QA, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of software and IT projects, including scope, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project priorities, dependencies, and risks.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies and project status meetings.
  • Develop project plans, roadmaps, and release schedules.
  • Use basic to intermediate SQL to review data, validate reports, and troubleshoot application data issues.
  • Coordinate integrations involving APIs, databases, data pipelines, and enterprise applications.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and timelines to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Help improve project delivery processes and team workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of IT project management experience, preferably managing software or application development projects.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, including basic queries, joins, and filters.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid methodologies and SDLC processes.
  • Experience with Jira or similar project management tools.
  • Strong project planning, organization, risk management, and communication skills.
  • Experience with databases, system integrations, or data platforms.

Preferred

  • Experience working with engineering, QA, product, UX, or operations teams.
  • SaaS or enterprise technology experience.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps concepts.
  • Experience with data, reporting, or BI projects.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, ScrumMaster, or similar certification.
