Direct Hire Opportunity
Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Bethel, CT. This role will be responsible for CNC programming, machine setup and operation, milling/grinding operations, quality inspection, and supporting other operators.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC equipment, including mills, lathes, or Swiss screw machines.
- Perform milling and grinding operations.
- Monitor production quality and quantity.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Inspect finished work using micrometers, microscopes, air gages, electronic gages, and dial indicators.
- Complete required production and quality documentation.
- Train and assist other operators as needed.
- Perform machine setups for other operators when required.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and follow 6S standards.
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of CNC experience.
- Strong CNC programming and setup experience.
- Experience with CNC mills, lathes, or Swiss screw machines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to train and work effectively with others.
- Must have steel-toed boots.
- Ability to pass a preemployment screening
Hourly Salary Range $38.00- $42.00/hour, depending on experience.
2nd Shift: Monday- Friday from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
