Quality Control professional with 13+ years of manufacturing experience, including 1 year as a Quality Control Manager.

* Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet blueprint specifications, tolerances, and quality requirements.
* Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to verify dimensions, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
* Experienced with gauge control and calibration, including the ability to calibrate and maintain inspection tools and measurement equipment.
* Proficient using micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, thread gauges, tape measures, and other precision inspection equipment.
* Experienced performing visual inspections and identifying quality issues throughout the manufacturing process.
* Manage and maintain gauge calibration records and utilize Excel/SharePoint-based systems for quality and gauge-control documentation.
* Supervise and support a team of approximately 10 employees, providing training, guidance, and accountability while avoiding unnecessary micromanagement.
* Strong understanding of production operations, having worked his way up from an entry-level manufacturing position, providing firsthand knowledge of production processes and employee responsibilities.
* Experienced in non-conformance reporting, SOP compliance, 5S auditing, troubleshooting machining issues, and supporting corrective actions and continuous improvement.
