Nesco Resource is looking for an Operator-Guidewire 2nd Shift located in Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Shift: Monday-Friday 3:15PM-11:15PM
Pay: $18-$18.50/hour ( 12% shift differential)
Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Operator to assist in the forming of medical device components. This position involves working with manual tools and machinery to shape precision parts according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow written instructions, and the capacity to work efficiently in a clean and safety-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Form parts using up to 10 lbs. of force
- Follow detailed work instructions accurately
- Read and complete router steps and identification labels
- Set up and adjust equipment to meet specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety and quality guidelines
- Understand and contribute to department quality goals
- Operate and master primary machines used in production
- Troubleshoot equipment and make minor adjustments as needed
- Maintain inventory of materials and supplies for daily operations
- Collaborate with leads and engineers to implement process improvements
- Assist in training and onboarding new operators
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience using microscopes for inspection or assembly work
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as micrometers, gauges, and calipers
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
