Human Resources Representative
Location: Arden, NC (Onsite)
Reports To: Human Resources Manager
Job Summary
The Human Resources Representative supports the daily execution of HR functions and initiatives to ensure smooth operations and alignment with the organization's business strategy. Working under the direction of the HR Manager, this position provides employees, supervisors, and managers with timely information, services, and support across key HR areas including employee relations, benefits, compliance, and recruitment coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the day-to-day HR activities to support business and operational objectives.

Assist in the implementation of HR strategies, procedures, and initiatives to build a high-performance culture.

Provide generalist HR support to hourly and salaried employees, ensuring effective delivery of HR services.

Serve as the liaison between the company and staffing agencies, ensuring effective coordination and communication.

Assist with benefits administration, workers' compensation, and FMLA/LOA case management.

Support compliance with government and corporate reporting requirements (e.g., EEOC, OSHA, VETS).

Coordinate and support recruitment events, including career fairs, campus hiring, military outreach, and diversity initiatives.

Organize and promote employee engagement activities and events that align with company culture and values.

Support timekeeping, attendance, and payroll accuracy in collaboration with managers.

Assist with safety program administration and other HR-related initiatives as needed.

Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources preferred.

0–2 years of progressive HR experience.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset.

Solid analytical and data-tracking skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills

Experience handling Workers' Compensation and FMLA/Leave of Absence (LOA) administration.

Creativity and problem-solving ability; capable of generating practical, employee-focused solutions.
