Nesco Resource is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic located in Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Shift: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM
Pay: $25/hour
Position Overview: The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues as they arise
- Conduct inspections and testing to ensure equipment reliability
- Operate safely and follow environmental procedures
- Communicate with supervisors on maintenance, safety, and production updates
- 1–3 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical/trade school preferred)
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Valid forklift operator license (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (bending, reaching, moving up to 100 lbs.)
