Quality Technician I - Freeburg, IL
Shift: 1st Shift 6am-3pm
Position Overview
Quality / Inspection Plan Review. Inspection Support – All areas of production.
Interfaces with Production Supervisors, production personnel and other inspectors to
fulfill Quality work requirements and support of company business needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Skills and Experience
High school diploma or higher
Certified inspector qualification preferred or past experience.
Exhibits knowledge and interpretation of blueprints
Understanding and use quality measurement tools; digital calipers, micrometers, special gauges,
comparator, tensile tester
Five (5) plus years experience
Preferred:
Strong computer skills; Word, Excel, SAP

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide feedback in the review and update of inspection plans for fabricated components and finished
- goods
- Provide feedback in support of root cause and corrective actions to reduce internal process scrap.
- Ensure timely reporting of scrap.
- Perform daily audits, inspections and reliability tests as prescribed in inspection plans.
- Receives guidance as required from Quality Engineer.
