NESCO Resource is actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead and manage the ISO 9001/AS9100 quality assurance and control processes for our valued client. This role is crucial in ensuring that all products not only meet but exceed the required quality standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong commitment to quality, capable of driving continuous improvement across all quality functions.
What Success Looks Like:
- Develop and Implement Quality Control Procedures: Design and oversee the implementation of robust quality control processes that align with ISO 9001/AS9100 standards.
- Conduct Regular Quality Audits: Perform systematic audits to identify potential areas for improvement and ensure ongoing compliance with established quality standards.
- Analyze Data for Compliance: Utilize analytical skills to evaluate product quality data, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Production Teams: Work closely with production teams to swiftly address and resolve any quality issues that arise, fostering a culture of quality excellence.
- Manage Quality Systems: Oversee the management and maintenance of critical quality systems, including HACCP, QA/QC, and CGMP, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of and ensure compliance with FDA regulations and other relevant standards, acting as the company's quality compliance expert.
- Lead Corrective Actions: Spearhead investigations into product non-conformances, implementing effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, providing a strong foundation in quality management principles.
- Proven Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in quality management, with a demonstrated ability to lead and improve quality systems in alignment with ISO 9001/AS9100 standards.
- In-Depth Knowledge: A solid understanding of quality assurance principles, practices, and tools, with a keen eye for detail and precision.
- Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and develop actionable recommendations for quality improvements.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead quality improvement initiatives effectively, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Experience:
- ISO 9001/AS9100: 5 years (Required)
