Primary Responsibilities
-Manage and enhance product designs, focusing on cost efficiency and manufacturing improvements
-Develop manufacturing drawings and specifications, managing the drawing database for accuracy.
-Work with existing customers to identify and document specific requirements, coordinating with colleagues to meet customer needs effectively.
-Assist with the bid/quote process
-Track and manage the status of open projects including cost estimates, budgets, and timelines
-Develops components and assembly drawing that are necessary for the successful manufacture of product (machining, fabricating, assembling and testing) using CAD.
-Help manage process improvement, waste reduction, and improved efficiencies
Position Requirements
· Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Associates Degree with relevant experience may be considered
· Solidworks or similar CAD software
· Excellent organizational and communicative skills
