Warehouse I (Forklift)

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Potential for Saturday work as needed. Any additional hours worked on Saturday will be balanced with reduced hours during the week.

Position Summary
The Warehouse I Associate is responsible for selecting, handling, and preparing products for shipment while maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to safety standards. This role requires experience operating both sit-down and stand-up electric forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Select and package products for shipment based on customer orders.
- Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse technology to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
- Inspect products for damage or defects prior to shipment.
- Review order forms to verify item numbers, quantities, sizes, colors, and scan information.
- Handle, position, move, and store materials to support inventory accuracy and customer fulfillment.
- Maintain proper product organization, rotation, and sequential picking practices.
- Follow all safety procedures and promptly report hazards or operational concerns.
- Operate warehouse equipment including sit-down and stand-up electric forklifts, palletizers, pallet wrappers, and electric pallet jacks.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse and forklift experience required.
- Experience operating both sit-down and stand-up electric forklifts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials throughout the shift.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required.
