Overview
Client is seeking a Software Engineer to support software development, modernization, certification, and integration testing within a hardware-in-the-loop laboratory supporting the F-22 platform. This role will develop software on Linux platforms using C and Python and will participate in requirements definition, design reviews, coding, testing, and integration activities.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop, modernize, test, and integrate locally developed software products used for data recording, data analysis, and test execution.
- Build software on Linux platforms using C and Python.
- Participate in requirements definition and design reviews.
- Design, code, test, and integrate assigned software components.
- Follow local coding standards within a small team environment.
- Support software efforts tied to certification and integration testing of Operational Flight Program software.
- Work with a multi-disciplined engineering team supporting F-22 platform test activities.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
- 7 years of experience with C programming on Linux platforms, including RHEL.
- 7 years of experience with Python on Linux platforms, including RHEL.
- 2 years of experience with GIT, MAKE, and VSCode.
- Hands-on experience with Client/Server architecture and network administration.
- 1 years of experience with PostgreSQL.
- Active Secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years or CE enrollment.
- F-22 Special Access required to start.
- Ability to support requirements definition, design reviews, software testing, and integration.
Preferred Skills or Experience
- Joint Simulation Environment experience.
- JavaScript experience.
- ADA experience.
- PERL experience.
