Essential Job Functions:
*Locates material to be produced as directed by Sales
*Prepares machine for processing
-Loads coil onto uncoiler
-Verifies coil identity and specifications (gauge)
-Insures proper material condition and identification
-Feeds material through levellor
-Feeds material through cut to length
*Performs Quality Checks:
-Audits widths, length, diagonal dimensions, surface, shape, and metal condition
*Prepares skid and packaging station
*Bands completed skid and wraps with packaging paper
*Creates and applies identification to completed skid of material
*Moves completed material to shipping area
*Processes steel to customer specifications while performing inspection for any nonconformance
*Completes required quality and production reports
*Rotates function with Package Line Associate
*Performs minor maintenance as necessary
*Adheres to all company safety and quality standards
*Maintains a clean and safe work area
Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift 50#
Subject to temperatures up to 105 F with humidity comparable to outside environment
Subject to normal industrial hazards and hazards form sharp edges of sheet metal
