Job Summary
The Load Builder stacks lumber and building materials onto delivery trucks in a specific order so loads are safe, balanced, and easy to unload at job sites.
Responsibilities
Stack lumber and wood products onto trucks in the correct order
Place materials so items that come off first are loaded last
Work with drivers and yard staff to build accurate loads
Use straps or supports to secure materials during transport
Keep the work area clean and follow safety rules
Assist with moving materials using basic equipment as needed
Requirements
Comfortable doing physical work all shift (lifting, stacking, standing)
Able to follow instructions and load plans
Good teamwork and communication
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Warehouse, lumber, or construction experience is a plus but not required
Work Environment
Outdoor yard and warehouse setting
Fast-paced, hands-on work with building materials
