Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED with lab experience
or Bachelor's degree with academic or industry lab experience
Required:
- 1 year of laboratory experience
- Ability to follow procedures and meet timelines
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Problem-solving using established processes
Preferred:
- Aseptic/cleanroom experience
- Biology or chemistry background
- Mechanical aptitude
Schedule
- Must be flexible for rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Shifts rotate throughout the month:
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- Typically works 2 adjacent shifts per week
Responsibilities
- Operate in a GMP-regulated vaccine manufacturing environment
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment
- Prepare and sterilize lab materials
- Assist with equipment setup and operations
- Perform aseptic processes (formulation, filling, monitoring)
- Support vaccine production (filling, labeling, packaging, inspection)
- Complete real-time documentation (logs, batch records)
- Follow all safety, GMP, and SOP requirements
- Identify and report deviations
- Assist with training and SOP updates
- Handle hazardous waste (with training)
- Support non-aseptic procedures, including poultry tissue handling
- Monitor lab supplies and assist with reporting/training
