Summary:  Nesco Resource is seeking a Formulation Technician II to support film manufacturing operations in a regulated production environment. This role is responsible for preparing chemical solutions, operating production equipment, following recipe-driven processes, and ensuring compliance with GMP, FDA, ISO, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate has experience working with chemical formulations, manufacturing processes, or production equipment and enjoys working in a detail-oriented, team-focused environment.

Pay Rate:

  • $20.75 – $23.38/hour + Bonus Eligibility

Shift:

  • 8-Hour Shifts | Monday – Friday
    • Must be flexible to work A and B Shifts (C shift schedules as needed)
    • Occasional overtime required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare solutions used in film and coating manufacturing processes
  • Follow detailed recipe-driven procedures with precision and accuracy
  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
  • Prepare, assemble, and inspect components needed for production
  • Complete production documentation and reporting using SAP/ERP systems
  • Access and utilize computer-based specifications and procedures
  • Maintain compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA, ISO, and company standards
  • Dispose of scrap and rejected materials according to safety requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams to support production goals

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Vocational or technical education preferred
  • 2–3 years of experience in chemical preparation, solution mixing, film coating, manufacturing, or related production environments preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred
  • Knowledge of GMP and ISO-regulated environments preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Manufacturing and laboratory environment
  • Exposure to chemicals, solvents, and production equipment
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
  • Manual dexterity required for manipulating parts and operating equipment
  • Frequent repetitive motions and physical activity throughout the workday
  • Flexible schedule availability to support production demands and deadlines
