Overview

Client is seeking a Digital & IT Lead to serve as the primary bridge between manufacturing operations and technology teams. This role combines IT leadership, hands-on project execution, ERP expertise, business application support, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will drive digital initiatives, manage a project portfolio, support critical business systems, and lead cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary ERP Subject Matter Expert across multiple business functions.
  • Translate manufacturing and operational requirements into technical solutions and project deliverables.
  • Manage project intake, prioritize initiatives, and align resources with business objectives.
  • Lead and execute digital and IT projects from planning through delivery.
  • Provide direct functional and technical support for ERP, BI, and related business applications.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business analysts and technical specialists.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across all organizational levels to drive alignment and project success.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Apply Lean and Kaizen methodologies to continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7 years of IT experience.
  • 2 years of direct people management experience.
  • Strong experience supporting enterprise business applications such as ERP, SCM, CRM, and BI platforms.
  • Deep ERP expertise and experience serving as a business-facing subject matter expert.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional IT projects.
  • Manufacturing or industrial industry experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

Preferred Skills or Experience

  • Power BI experience.
  • SQL experience.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience supporting MES, SCADA, or Industrial IoT (IIoT) platforms.
  • PMP, CSM, or similar project management certification.
  • Lean, Kaizen, or continuous improvement certifications.
  • Change management experience related to system implementations.
  • Vendor management experience.

Work Details

  • Onsite role.
  • One remote workday per week.
  • Monday–Friday schedule.
  • Flexible hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
  • Temporary assignment.
